iOS 11 – on how many iPhones and iPads it is already installed

iOS 11 it was launched by the Apple company almost two months ago, and until now it has reached an adoption rate of 52%, a real achievement for those from Apple. The adoption rate of iOS 11 is lower than that recorded for iOS 10 last year, and some say that everything is based on the fact that a lot of people were waiting for the release iPhone X.

iOS 11 is installed on 52% of iDevices, while iOS 10 runs on 38% of them, and the remaining 10% run old versions of Apple's iOS operating system. iOS 10, in the same period last year, was running on 60% of Apple's iDevices, so we have a big difference between the adoption rates of the two versions of iOS.

iOS 11 performs worse than iOS 10 or iOS 9, but Apple's iDevice base has grown a lot in these 2 years and not everyone installs updates immediately after release. However, compared to Android Oreo, iOS 11 is doing much better, with Google's operating system being installed on 0.2% of terminals.

iOS 11 held a lot of people in place because of the problems it had after the official release, so maybe it was expected to see these data now.
