Macs have kept Apple in the Top 5 Laptop Manufacturers

Macs didn't have a bad Q3 2017, keeping the company going Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), in the top laptop manufacturers, even if the sales were not high compared to those of the competition. Despite this, with 4.43 million Macs sold globally, the Apple company placed 4th in the top 5 laptop manufacturers at the moment.

Mac sales increased by 11% compared to Q3 2016, while the market growth was 7%, so Apple had a better evolution than the manufacturers' market average. Comparing it with the rest, Apple's market share is halved compared to that of HP or Lenovo, but that's normal, because it sells laptops that are much more expensive than them.

Compared to Dell, Apple has reduced its difference in market share, but it still remains at 5 percentage points of the manufacturer, so it still has a lot to recover at the moment. The interesting part is that ASUS and Acer have weaker sales than the Apple company, although they have a very varied range of laptops that come with much lower prices than the Americans.

To be completely honest, Apple has very good sales and "does well" on the laptop market compared to the rest of the manufacturers, although it sells such expensive products.
