Considering that the 5G standard has not yet been adopted, those from Apple are testing the iPhone XS prototypes based on some configurations that are supposed to be used, they being theoretical, therefore unreliable now.
iPhone XS has very little chance of being launched with support for 5G networks, which will not even be available in 2018, but it has chances of being launched with support for 1 Gbps networks, available in some countries. The fact that Apple is testing the iPhone XS with 5G support is not at all unusual, those from Cupertino always try to keep up with the evolution of GSM technology and test in advance the standards to be launched.

The iPhone XS has a lot of unknowns for the time being, because a lot of time separates us from its launch, so it remains to be seen what other interesting information we will discover about it. My opinion is that Apple will increase download speeds from the Internet together with the iPhone XS launch, but in Romania this will be of little help since the networks barely offer 100 Mbps in cities.

Separately from the testing of the iPhone XS with support for higher internet browsing speeds, it seems that Apple is going to change the prices for iPhone phones at the beginning of 2018. It is not known whether it is an increase or a decrease, but the hope is that it will be the latter situation, especially since people can't wait to buy a cheaper iPhone from Apple.
