iPhone X vs iPhone 8 Plus - How Hard is it to Charge?

iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus are put through a test that shows us which of them is more difficult to charge using standard and wireless methods.

This should be the case in theory, but in practice things are different, because the iPhone 8 Plus charges faster than the iPhone X both in the case of wireless and cable charging.

Looking now at the charging times for the iPhone 8 Plus, we can see that a 7.5W wireless charger charges the battery faster than in the case of the iPhone X. Interestingly, charging using the standard charger is much faster on the iPhone 8 Plus compared to iPhone X, the difference is 9 percentage points, so the user has a better autonomy.

If we still look at fast charging, here the iPhone X wins over the iPhone 8 Plus after the first 30 minutes, the difference between the phones being, however, only 3 percentage points between the phones. Although both phones have batteries of extremely similar capacity, iPhone 8 Plus charges faster wirelessly, but also with the standard charger, iPhone X charging faster only with the one for fast charging.
