CES 2018 brings us an extremely interesting product from a company called Dreamlight, it is a sleeping mask controlled by a smartphone. It was designed for those who have problems sleeping, the sleeping mask being excellent to help us fall asleep faster when we need a quick sleep, or just a quiet one.
The sleeping mask sits over the eyes, like a normal one, only that unlike the existing ones, it was designed to project the light of various colors in front of the eyes. Specifically, it has a series of infrared sensors, a heart rate monitor, and an accelerometer, plus a series of LED panels that can project light in front of your eyes.
Based on a predefined program, the Dreamlight sleeping mask can project orange light for 15 minutes to stimulate the body's melatonin production. If enough is released, then the person falls asleep almost instantly, and after a night of peaceful sleep, a green light is projected to wake us up in the morning.
Separately, the sleeping mask also has a series of speakers that can play various sounds to help us fall asleep faster, and during the night the heart rate is also measured. The creators of the sleeping mask can also create predefined programs for people who have difficulty falling asleep, so we are talking about a useful product for many people.
CES 2018 shows us only a prototype of this sleeping mask, and the finished products would be put on sale at prices starting from 100 dollars, but no one knows when.
