We are talking about a function called Quiet Hours and which is inspired by the Do Not Disturb that Apple implemented both in MacOS, as well as in iPhone or iPad, under the same name.
Windows 10 has this feature seriously improved as part of build 17074 for those who are part of the Insider Preview program, so if you are among them, you can use it on your own computers. Just like Do Not Disturb, the function from Microsoft also stops all notifications displayed by the Windows 10 operating system on computers, but the great novelty is the possibility to configure the notification blocking times
Until now, Windows 10 allowed the activation of the function with the blocking of all notifications overnight, but in the new version there is the possibility to customize the time periods between which the notifications are blocked. For 2 years, since the function existed, Microsoft left it with a predetermined schedule, but now Windows 10 allows its customization and of course the bad list of priority applications has not disappeared in the new build.

However, Windows 10 comes with something new for the function Quiet Hours, compared to macOS and iOS, more precisely the fact that it blocks notifications and when games are run on the full screen of our computers. In those moments, the operating system will not display any notifications in Windows 10 for users, so they will be able to play in peace, but only if the application is not included in the priority list.
Windows 10 is not the first function taken over from macOS in the last year, the Microsoft company borrowing including the one that allows starting a task on the computer and continuing on the mobile phone or tablet, or vice versa. With Quiet Hours, those from Microsoft confirm again the fact that they still do not offer their clients everything they could in terms of functionality and that they still have something to learn from the Apple company.
