iOS 11.3: Very Important Feature Discovered

iOS 11.3 has a very important feature implemented by Apple for iPhone and iPad that many users will want to use.

iOS 11.3 delay installing updates

iOS 11.3 it is still in full testing process by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, but today we learn about an extremely important function that those from Cupertino have included for iPhone and iPad. More specifically, Apple has implemented a new function that allows the installation of updates for iOS 90.x, or future versions of iOS, to be postponed for up to 11.3 days.

iOS 11.3 is the first version of the iOS operating system that brings this functionality to the iPhone and iPad, the Apple company allowing until now to postpone it by only a few hours. Starting with iOS 11.3 this will be possible for periods that cannot exceed 90 days, or 3 months, but the functionality is limited only for some users.

iOS 11.3 has this option available only to those who use Apple Configurator to manage iPhones and iPads within companies, but anyone can use the program from home as well. Those from Apple will allow to postpone the installation of updates for iOS 11.3.x, or other newer versions for a minimum of 30 days, or a maximum of 90 days, according to preferences.

During this period of time, the updates will not even be displayed in the Configurations, Settings application of the iPhone and iPad, so users will not even know that there is an update. The change implemented with iOS 11.3 will be available including for macOS 10.14 under the same conditions, so Apple does not limit the function only to this year's iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
