Samsung Galaxy S9: EXCLUSIVE, Big Disappointment

Samsung Galaxy S9 has confirmed a big disappointment for fans all over the world, the Samsung company choosing for its products a strategy similar to that of Apple.

Samsung Galaxy S9 disappointing performance

Samsung Galaxy S9 has revealed today a new big disappointment for the fans of the Korean company, but it's not the first time we hear about this, it was announced even last year. More precisely, we are again talking about the performance of the Samsung Galaxy S9, which were initially revealed during the last year, but then they were too bad to be taken into account by fans, so now they should be viewed with enough confidence.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 has once again revealed the performance of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip thanks to a screenshot taken directly in the Geekbench application, revealing how powerful the processor is. According to this performance test for the Samsung Galaxy S9, the new smartphone will score 2300-2400 points in the single-core test and up to 8300 points in the multi-core test, considering the previous results.

The Samsung Galaxy S9, with these performances, would have a processor that is up to 50% slower than the one in the iPhone 8 and iPhone X, if we look at the results obtained for the single-core and multi-core tests. The difference is huge and will be felt in the performances that the Samsung Galaxy S9 offers to customers, mainly for the model that will have 4 GB of RAM and will suffer from the insufficient memory offered by Samsung.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 will be a disappointment, for some fans, because of the performance

The Samsung Galaxy S9 shown in the image above is most likely the Plus model, this being the only one that will have 6 GB of RAM implemented by the Korean company, the standard model will have 4 GB of RAM. The difference will matter a lot, because the Samsung Galaxy S9 will not be able to keep as many applications open in the background as the Plus model, this being a big problem of the iPhone 8 and iPhone X in front of Android phones.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 will not have an advantage even in the speed of opening applications compared to the iPhone X, the Apple phone even now surpassing the Android phones in these tests, but the reopening in the background is a big problem. Apple launched a 1150 euro phone with such an embarrassing problem, so why wouldn't the Samsung Galaxy S9 have it, since it is 250 euros cheaper than Apple's phone.

Samsung Galaxy S9 will be presented on February 25 at 19:00 in an event organized before the start of Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona, many fans are waiting for its unveiling. The Samsung Galaxy S9 will be available for pre-order starting on March 2, while the release will be scheduled for March 9 or 16, but only in certain countries around the world.

  1. Dear M, the iPhone 8 plus shows a lower score in antutu when it is on battery than when it is charging, so all iPhones have a lower speed when they are on battery

  2. As I said...nasty, dusty, humiliating
In 2018, you should have 4 gb of ram, YOU SAMSUNG, who always had the biggest figures/numbers in terms of hardware... you have reached the mess of the android platform

  3. homePOD:
"I am an audiophile and the HomePod is an astounding leap forward in audio for price - the separation and soundstage from a "single" speaker is amaze balls"

"I can definitively say that the #HomePod sounds substantially better than my $1000 #Sonos system. "

  4. At the time when the iPhone was working with 1gb of ram, Apple fans threw dirt on Samsung for implementing 3-4gb of ram in phones just for the eyes of the world and to take their eyes off the suckers. At the moment, a software-hardware balance has been reached, and those 4 gb of ram are currently enough to only add more, at the top, all the Apple fans come and start throwing rubbish that dc only implements 4 :)))

  5. I don't mind the limitations that much because I don't feel them that strongly, I like Apple a lot, but there are limitations, that's for sure. On notes 8 at 20% battery, it gave me the same score

  6. It seems strange to me the decision of Samsung to put only 4Gb ram in the S9 and not because it might have "functioning" problems, but because Samsung used to set the bar high in terms of components. I can't understand the decision either to make such a big difference in the camera chapter, but who am I to question Samsung's decision?

  7. It seems that the world forgets that incident (Apple connoisseurs know what I'm talking about) when some YouTubers made negative reviews of an Apple product and since then they fell out of favor with the company from Cupertino...

  8. only s9+, so it obliges you if you want something better, a bigger device.. where did he get this from? please... the others in 2017 and 2018 are already joining with 8gb ram... 3-4 years ago samsung was TOP in android specs... S9 4gb ram... they probably want to withdraw from the high end smartphone world...

  9. Possibly. However, fans are used to receiving e-top specifications, and in terms of the amount of ram memory, it doesn't really happen this year.

  10. It all depends on the new interface. If it is much easier then it makes sense to implement "only" 4gb ram. In the end, it is not the specifications on paper that are important, but the experience of using them in everyday life.

  11. In the end, what is important is the experience of use in real life, not what is written on paper or the results of synthetic tests. So in the synthetic tests, the iPhone X came out faster than the MacBook pro 13", but in real life I see it a little, very little, faster than the iPhone 7.

  12. Old processor? Well, is there anything currently over this android processor? Until the SD 845 appears on the S9, for now this is the coolest in the lot.

  13. And it's not really cheap either, as the price/quality ratio is excellent and it's much cheaper than an S8+ or Note 8, it's another fish. If this is cheap Chinese, what can I say about Allview, E-Boda or even J3, J5?
