iOS 11: The message that Blocks ANY iPhone

iOS 11 is affected by a new problem that causes iPhones to freeze, and Apple is aware of its existence at the moment.

iOS 11 it doesn't get rid of stupid problems, so now we are talking about a new code that can block any iPhone of the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), when it is sent via SMS to the victim's phone. This new problem is really new, because similar codes were discovered in the past that could block anything iPhone if they were sent via SMS, but Apple still blocked them, except for this one which affects iOS 11.2.5 as well.

To block an iPhone, a person only needs to send a message that contains a special Indian character that iOS 11 cannot process, and the iPhone will react as in the video clip below. The iPhone on which this message is received will be locked when the messages application is accessed, the user having to unlock it to be able to use it, the good part being that it does not restart upon receiving the message.

The problem is not as serious as in the case of other similar exploitations of the iOS 11 operating system, and this is because we are talking here only about a blocking of the messages application and one of the phone, but not about a sudden restart. Moreover, it seems that solving the problem is simpler than in the past, a message received from another person giving access to the Messages application and the possibility to delete the message that generates the main problem.

Even better is the fact that, unlike other situations, the entire database of messages that we have saved in the iPhone is not deleted either, which happened with other bugs discovered for iOS 11. This problem does not affect iOS 11.3, so when the final version is released, users will have no problems using an iPhone to send and receive messages, but until then it will probably remain unsolved.
