Haier Developed a Smartwatch with Built-in Projector

The first smartwatch with a built-in projector shows us what can be done with a smart watch when you don't know what new functions to implement for it.

Haier is the first company that had the courage to implement a projector in one SmartWatch, and in the images below you can see what such a device looks like. The projector was implemented on the side of the case and can project images on the back of the palm, practically being a kind of secondary screen, although the information does not have excellent visibility.

Haier designed this smartwatch with a projector to display information that normally could not be displayed on the same screen as others that the smart watch already displays. Haier thought that users would need additional information through a projector when undertaking various physical activities, and the idea itself is not so bad.

The interesting part is that this Haier smartwatch can even be controlled with gestures, but they should not be done on the smart watch screen, but directly on our hand. Of course, the prototype does not work perfectly, but the idea itself is worth exploring, even if for now it has a very limited utility in the absence of special applications for the watch.

The only bad part in this whole concept is the very large size of the watch case, the integration of a projector not being so easy in such a small device. Moreover, a suitable battery is also needed to be able to supply energy for a projector, so it is difficult to say in what final form the Haier smartwatch will be offered.
