MacBook Air 2018 comes with a Big Surprise

MacBook Air 2018 will be launched with a series of big surprises by Apple, but some of them could disappoint some of the fans of the American company.

MacBook Air 2018 Retina Display

MacBook Air 2018 it was already announced for release during 2018, with Apple intending to bring it to the market in the following months for those who are still interested in the series. MacBook Air 2018 has already been announced as a cheaper laptop that the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), wants to launch it for customers, but it seems that the price will be similar to that of the current series.

MacBook Air 2018 will include a 13.3-inch diagonal Retina Display, identical to the one used in the MacBook Pro, which will have a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. The new Retina screen for MacBook Air 2018 will be bought by Apple from the LG company, after trying to buy cheaper screens from China, but not finding the desired quality.

MacBook Air 2018 will have the new screens delivered by LG starting in April, and production should start at the end of May or the beginning of June. Quanta will produce 70% of the units of the new MacBook Air 2018, while Foxconn will produce 30% of them, and the new laptop should be announced at WWDC 2018 in June.

"Apple is preparing to release a new entry-level MacBook at the end of the second quarter with a price tag expected to be about the same level as that of the existing MacBook Air or slightly higher. The 13.3-inch a-Si panels for the new notebook feature the same resolution as Apple's 13.3-inch MacBook Pro at 2,560 by 1,600."

MacBook Air 2018 is to be produced in approximately 6 million units during 2018, so Americans have quite high expectations regarding the sales of the new product. The big problem will be with the fact that people expect the new MacBook Air 2018 to be cheap, and with a Retina Display it could have a higher price than some customers would like.
