Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus iPhone X - Camera Problems

Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus si iPhone X appear in a new camera comparison that takes phones to new environments to show us to what extent they are able to reproduce the reality around us. The first thing that is noticed from the first minute of recording is based on the fact that the iPhone X has very big problems in correctly rendering the colors of the clothes on which shadows fall, while the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus does not really know what the real color of the snow is.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus continues to oversaturate the colors in the videos taken with the phone, something that I have seen over time with other Samsung phone models, the practice being maintained with this version as well. However, compared to the iPhone X, the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus has a much better clarity for images, and this is extremely important, because in the end the goal is to see reality as clearly as possible.

Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus vs iPhone X – camera issues

The Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus does not apply the same type of changes to the pictures taken, here representing reality almost as well as the iPhone X, the latter still having problems recognizing the colors as they should. The Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus also applies HDR much more intensively for certain photos, compared to the iPhone X, but at standard settings, the two phones are quite close in terms of photo quality.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus still has a huge advantage over the iPhone X thanks to the image sensor with f/1.5 aperture, the quality of pictures and videos taken at night being clearly superior, without question. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus is better than the iPhone X, but it's not good at everything, having some problems when it comes to recording photos and videos, but it's impossible to make something perfect.
