iPhone 11 will be CHEAPER to produce than iPhone X

The iPhone 11 will have a lower manufacturing cost than the iPhone X, the Apple company managing to substantially reduce the money paid to produce the new phone.

iPhone 11 CHEAPER iPhone X product

iPhone 11 is the model that will replace it iPhone X on the global markets from the fall of this year, and according to some information that appeared during this day, it seems that the production will be cheaper than the predecessor. iPhone 11 will still have an OLED screen with a diagonal of 5.85 inches, but those from Apple will produce it at a lower cost than iPhone X, the difference being at least 10% for the manufacturing price at the factory.

The iPhone X has an estimated production cost of approximately $360 at the moment, so a minimum 10% reduction in the manufacturing cost of the iPhone 11 would reduce the value to a minimum of $324 for Apple. If Apple manages to produce the iPhone 11 at a substantially lower price than the iPhone X, then the company's profit could increase even more, if it does not think of implementing extravagant components.

iPhone X is presented by these analysts as having a manufacturing cost of over 400 dollars, but the reality is that the maximum estimated last year was 370 dollars, with a consensus of 360 dollars. Apple even considered launching the iPhone 11 with a 5.8-inch LCD screen, in order to reduce its price, but it convinced Samsung to sell its components at lower prices, so it returned to this decision in recent weeks.

"Apple plans to launch a new 5.85-inch OLED iPhone this year as an upgrade to the existing iPhone X, but the vendor has managed to reduce the new device's initial manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM). The new device's MBOM will be more than 10% lower than that for iPhone X. Apple has recently determined the direction for its next-generation iPhone lineup – which will consist of two OLED-based iPhones (5.85-inch and 6.45-inch) and a 6.1-inch LCD model.”

iPhone 11 will also be launched with an iPhone X Plus, or iPhone 11 Plus, the latter model will have a screen with a diagonal of 6.45 inches, and of course as a iPhone 9 with a 6.1 inch screen is also in the plan. With a lower production price than the iPhone X, some expect the iPhone 11 to be sold at a lower price than its predecessor, but of course Apple will ultimately decide what kind of prices it will charge for the phones it will launch them in the fall of this year.
