iPhone: Negative Evolution for Apple's Revenues in the Next Years

iPhone Negative Evolution Apple's Receipts in the Next Years

iPhone it has been the main growth engine for the company's revenues for years Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, but starting with 2018, things will change radically for those from Cupertino. American analysts claim that it is not the iPhone that will generate the biggest increase in Apple's revenues until 2022, but the service divisions and other products sold by the company.

Until 2022, the services division will account for more than 50% of the growth in Apple's revenue, while "other products" will account for 30% of the increase. The iPhone will decrease to only 22% of revenue growth, while in the period 2012-2017 phones represented 86% of the total growth for Apple's revenue.

"Although "over the last five years, the vast majority (86%) of Apple's 8% annual revenue growth was driven by iPhone sales, it is through monetization of Apple's Services business that we see the company still generating mid single digit revenue growth. Huberty estimated that roughly 60% of revenue growth is now attributable to services."

In the services division of the Apple company, we have the revenues generated by the iTunes Store, AppStore, Apple Music, iCloud, Apple Pay and AppleCare, billions of dollars being generated annually by these services. In the case of the "other products" category, we find the Apple Watch, AirPods, Apple TV, Apple Pencil and other types of such products sold by Americans.

Apple has been very successful with Apple Watch and AirPods in the last year, the two products registering surprisingly high demand, and this is a very good thing for Americans. However, the estimate of the decrease in the growth generated by the iPhone receipts is based on a capping of user loyalty and a substantial increase in the selling prices for phones.
