iOS 11.4 it was officially announced last night by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, the new version of the operating system for iPhone and iPad to be launched in the following months. iOS 11.3 it is in the beta testing period and has not been released yet, but the Apple company has already announced the release of iOS 11.4, without any beta version for it being offered to us yet.
iOS 11.4 is to be released by Apple to bring Classkit, a framework announced last night during the conference where we also saw the new version of the iPad tablet. Apple announced that this ClassKit will be available for teachers in June, so we can expect iOS 11.4 to reach users only then, especially since iOS 11.3 has not been released yet.

iOS 11.4 is the first x.4 version of iOS released by Apple in the last 4 years, but apart from what Apple announced last night, it's hard to say if it will bring anything new. 4 years ago iOS 8.4 brought Apple Music, and iOS 11.4 is going to bring new software for the educational environment, but the vast majority of Apple customers probably won't see any benefit.

iOS 11.4 will most likely be tested in beta by Apple for at least a month before being publicly released for iPhone and iPad by Apple. I will let you know when iOS 11.4 will be released in beta version for iPhone and iPad, but I recommend not to get your hopes up about it for now.
