iOS 11 BAD News iPhone iPad Easter

iOS 11 is in the center of attention on the eve of Easter, because Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), thought to bring bad news for iPhone and iPad users around the world last night. Specifically, starting last night, iOS 11.2.6 can no longer be installed on iPhone and iPad by users worldwide, so now only iOS 11.3 can be installed by everyone.

iOS 11.2.6 was allowed for installation by Apple for only a week and a half after iOS 11.3 was released, the shortest period so far. No one knows why Apple decided to block the possibility of installing iOS 11.2.6 for iPhone and iPad, but probably everything has to do with improving the security of iDevices.

iOS 11.2.6 can no longer be installed on iPhone and iPad

iOS 11.2.6 does not currently have a jailbreak solution available for iPhone and iPad, but Apple has blocked a multitude of very dangerous vulnerabilities in iOS 11.3. Some of them could be turned into jailbreak solutions for iOS 11.2.6, but everyone who left this version of the operating system has no option to go back to it now.

iOS 11.3 is the only version of iOS that users can still install via iTunes, and iOS 11.2.6 has become history, so if you still have it, keep it. It is not certain that a jailbreak solution for iOS 11.2.6 will be released by a hacker, but there are very high chances that this will happen, so the wait will be worth it.
