Google Maps has announced two new special functions for users iPhone si Android from all over the world, the company Google making everything public during the I/O conferences of the past few days, they being an interesting surprise. The first new feature for Google Maps is called For You, and within its American company offers recommendations for places that we can visit to eat, to spend time with friends, or for whatever else we want.
Google Maps will have these personalized recommendations available in a special section called For You, and artificial intelligence plays a very important role, based on the locations visited, recommendations are also made. Those from Google want to offer users an alternative to Yelp in terms of discovering new locations, with Google Maps becoming the only source for this kind of information, or at least that's what the people from Mountain View want.

Google Maps will have another function called Your Match, this having an even more important role, more precisely it can tell us how suitable a place is for us and how much we will like it, depending on other locations visited and reviews left. Google Maps will use artificial intelligence and reviews from other people to give points from 1 to 100 for various locations, and based on them it can tell us what the chances are that that location will be to our liking.
Google Maps will display this information when we want to access information about a certain location, and as we use it, the artificial intelligence will be able to make more accurate recommendations. The functions For You si Your Match of those from Google will be available for Google Maps on iPhone and Android starting this summer, so we won't have much to wait until they are officially available.
