Among them would be a substantial one for the interface, those from Apple seem to have the intention of using interface elements with a deep 3D effect, and the animated image below is very suggestive at this moment.
iOS 12 could have a new depth effect applied by the Apple company for interface elements in native applications, third parties may have something similar offered through developer updates. Apple can use Face ID to track the movements of users' faces and provide a series of very interesting 3D depth effects, but it has to want to do this, and the official invitations for WWDC 2018 seem to suggest that.

iOS 12 has visible in the invitation for the WWDC 2018 presentation conference a varied range of interface elements that have a deep 3D effect, Apple's plans seem to be quite clear at this moment. iOS 12 needs completely different changes from the Apple company, not those concerning the way it looks, but of course the Americans know much better how to think things through to make the system attractive.
iOS 12 is presented by rumors as an update designed to improve performance and solve performance problems, not as one that will bring big changes to the iPhone and iPad. In this idea, it is very possible that Apple wants to offer some interface changes in iOS 12 to "quiet" users who want other types of more substantial changes, but the plans of those from Apple will be officially revealed on the 4th June.
