iOS 11.4: RELEASE Date Announced

iOS 11.4 will be launched today by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, those from Cupertino revealing to the press the intention to distribute this update for the whole world starting today. The Apple company will launch together with iOS 11.4 and AirPlay 2, plus new functions designed to make the HomePod speakers much more attractive for people who have not yet bought them.

iOS 11.4 will bring HomePod speakers the possibility of synchronization to play the same songs in each of the rooms in which they are located. Basically, people who have several HomePod speakers will have the possibility to interconnect them to play the same music in any room, iOS 11.4 will facilitate this also through the iPhone.

iOS 11.4 will also bring the stereo function for HomePod, one that the Apple company has promised for some time, but which it manages to offer to users only now. iOS 11.4 comes with more major changes for HomePod than for iPhone and iPad, but we knew this since the time when the operating system was tested in beta version.

However, iOS 11.4 has a very important change through the implementation of AirPlay 2 that will allow the playback of sounds from the iPhone on multiple smart speakers or Apple TVs.
