Google started testing a major change for the interface YouTube at the moment, the American company is implementing it for the first time in the beta version of the application for Android phones. Google wants to implement for YouTube users the possibility to search more quickly for the videos they want to see within the platform, and in the image below you can see what this important change looks like.
Google will display a new search bar at the top of the YouTube application, which is permanently visible to users, while in the current versions a search button must be pressed for it to be displayed. By implementing this change for the YouTube application, Google will remove other buttons, which are probably not that useful for users, but a change like this would not be made if it were not useful.

Google does not stop here, however, and this is because the YouTube application is going to display larger preview images for the video clips that are displayed for users, and this helps us to see more clearly what they are going to show. The bad part of this change, however, lies in the fact that the YouTube application will display fewer video clips in one screen, but those from Google are betting on the curiosity of users, and the desire to scroll to see other clips.
Google has not announced these important changes for the YouTube application until now, so they come as a pleasant surprise from the company, but that is if they will remain so in the final version that will be released. Google has not disclosed any possible date when it will release these changes for the YouTube application, but since they are present in the Android application, it is very clear that they will also be offered in the iPhone one soon.
