iOS 12: Autofill for Security Codes and Complex Passwords

iOS 12 Autofill Codes Security Complex Passwords

iOS 12 brings two very big changes for those who need to feel safe on a daily basis, and the first of them is related to an Autofill system, their automatic completion. We all know that some services send us security codes via SMS for logging into websites, this system being known as 2-step authentication.

Well, starting with iOS 12, the security codes received via SMS will be automatically displayed as input suggestions in the login fields of services that require a unique security code. Everything is done automatically by iOS 12, so we won't have to worry about such things anymore.

"Security code AutoFill. SMS one-time passcodes will appear automatically as AutoFill suggestions, so you never have to worry about memorizing them or typing them again."

Safari also has a very important change, with Apple stating that the browser can generate unique and complex passwords for the websites and applications we use. Safari can automatically save all these complex and unique passwords, they are entered automatically when we have to log in, so we don't have to worry about them anymore.

"Automatic strong passwords. Unique, complex passwords for all of your apps and websites are automatically created and saved in Safari and in apps — so you can use more secure passwords without having to remember a thing."
