Google wants to launch Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in the fall of this year, the American company having already revealed some of the surprises it is preparing for fans who are waiting with great interest for new phones. Despite the two new models of the Pixel 3, those from Google intend to bring another mid-range model to the market, which will be launched somewhere at the beginning of 2019, so not together with the other 2 models.
Google would like to launch a Pixel model that is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor dedicated to mid-range phones, so performance will not be one of its important points. Despite this, this model of the Pixel could very easily compete with the iPhone SE, for example, which does not have top specifications, but is cheap enough to generate quite good sales for Apple every year.
Google ATTACKS Apple with MORE Pixel Models
Google would have started developing this new model of Pixel only about a month ago, so the project itself is very recent, but that does not mean that the product itself will not be as good as consumers expect it to be. A cheap phone from the Pixel series will definitely be highly desired by a large number of Android users who want the pure experience of the operating system, but at a price as low as they actually want.
No, I don't know if there is one planned for this year. No I don't know any specifics in this device, only the CPU. Hardware dev work in this only just started about a month ago.

Google has very serious plans to compete with Apple, Samsung and the rest of the Android phone manufacturers, and a mid-range Pixel is definitely part of them to substantially increase its sales. Google wants to be one of the largest mobile phone manufacturers on the planet in the not-too-distant future, and a cheap phone with Android operating system will help it become more relevant in this crowded and saturated market.
