Windows 10 it is probably the most popular operating system on the planet, and in contrast to many other operating systems, it has a dark mode available, a dark theme, and activation can be done very easily. We are talking about a dark mode that Windows 10 does not have implemented in the entire operating system, but which is available for the applications that control the settings, and for some of the native applications of the operating system.
Windows 10 has this dark mode available including for the taskbar, plus many other menus, but unfortunately we cannot use it for Finder, Internet Explorer, and Control Panel, but otherwise it is available almost everywhere. Windows 10 is currently in the process of testing a dark mode for the Finder, or Internet Explorer, but from here until the public offering of this dark theme will take some time, so we have to be patient.
Windows 10: This is how you ACTIVATE DARK MODE now
Windows 10 can still have dark mode activated in the rest of the operating system by accessing the section Settings, where you have to look for the menu Personalization, and then the one Colors. In this menu, scroll to the bottom, where you find the option Choose your default app mode, and select there Dark instead of Light, and so you will have dark mode activated for a good part of the operating system, less the locations mentioned above, or the third-party applications, where the developers have to offer this.
Windows 10 used with this dark mode is much less tiring if you have to work a good part of the day at the computer, but if you are not satisfied with what you get, then you can always return to the old format. Those from Microsoft don't seem to have been able to implement a dark mode in all of Windows 10 from the very beginning, so they are doing it gradually, but this is a good thing, because we can enjoy it even segmented.
