HTC U12 Plus was released this year by the HTC company as a successor to the U11 series, and although some problems discovered there have been solved, unfortunately, others have appeared for customers who will buy the phone. More precisely, it seems that the HTC U12 Plus has problems with the capacitive buttons that the company has implemented, but also with the resistance structure, here the Taiwanese solve a previous problem, but leave another one for their customers.
The HTC U12 Plus can remain without the side capacitive buttons, they can be detached from the phone case if enough attention is paid to them, something that normally shouldn't happen. If the phone is dropped with its side on a hard surface, then there is a risk that the HTC U12 Plus buttons will detach, or jump completely, and after this happens, they can no longer be used, and must be replaced in a service GSM.
HTC U12 Plus: Two BIG PROBLEMS Discovered
HTC U12 Plus also has another serious problem discovered, the phone case detaching from the resistance structure without breaking, but the adhesive that holds the two components together disappears. Unfortunately, this problem of the HTC U12 Plus completely eliminates the phone's resistance to water and dust, the warranty also disappears if it is discovered during an inspection in a service, at least until the Taiwanese will recognize it.
The HTC U12 Plus shows that HTC is still very far from having quality products for consumers, something we have also seen with the Google Pixel phones, which HTC manufactured for Google, but with various other problems. HTC U12 Plus is an interesting phone, with many strong points, but unfortunately these rather stupid problems call into question the opportunity to buy the Taiwanese phone at the expense of those of other manufacturers.
