The App Store will celebrate 10 years of existence on July 10, the Apple company announcing today some interesting information about its iOS application store. Those from Apple say that the App Store was launched in 2008 with 500 iPhone applications, most of which are still offered today, but only for Americans, for whom they were created.
Apple also announced that the stories in the Today section of the App Store were read by only 1 million people, while the store has 500 million monthly visitors. Practically, an extraordinarily small percentage of people are interested in the stories in the Today section, so it is very possible that Apple will give it up, or "shove it down our throats" in the future.
Apple also talks about the great impact that the ResearchKit and CareKit initiatives have for those who live in a civilized country that the company cares about.
