Facebook si Cristiano Ronaldo is currently in discussions for a project that will take many of the fans of the famous footballer by surprise, and this is because of the idea behind it. More precisely, those from Facebook intend to increase interest in the platform of films and online series with a collaboration in which Cristiano Ronaldo would have a leading role, but not exactly as most fans imagine.

Cristiano Ronaldo would be involved in a drama series that Facebook would like to launch for the platform facebook watch, the production being ordered by the American company from a production studio created by the player. Based on the agreement, Cristiano Ronaldo would play the role of the coach of a football team belonging to a high school, but this will be a female one, not a male one, as many would have imagined.

Cristiano Ronaldo would collect from Facebook no less than 10 million dollars for 13 episodes of this series, he being located in New York and aiming to show how talent can make racial barriers, or social barriers, be forgotten. Cristiano Ronaldo and Facebook are currently in discussions to conclude a contract for the realization of this project, so for now things are not finalized.

"Facebook is in discussions for what could be its biggest original series deal to date: a reality show about global soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese footballer could get a paycheck of around $10 million for the 13-episode show. That show is about a diverse high-school girls soccer team in upstate New York that inspires the local community to transcend racial, ethnic and class differences dividing it."

Facebook launched the Facebook Watch platform last year, and it is currently only available in the US, so the series could be launched by the American company only in that market, and not in others. Cristiano Ronaldo is considered to be one of the best soccer players on the planet, even the best by some, so a collaboration with Facebook would bring him not only a lot of money, but also a much larger number of fans all over the world.
