Microsoft Surface Go was launched last night by Microsoft as a competitor to Apple's iPad tablet, with a 10-inch screen and a price of 400 dollars. The Microsoft Surface Go has a design very similar to that of the Surface Pro, its 10-inch screen with a resolution of 1800 x 120 pixels, a front camera with facial recognition and stand support.

Microsoft Surface Go comes with an integrated USB-C 3.1 port, and the touch screen with 3:2 aspect ratio makes its use very easy, especially with a complex operating system, such as Windows 10. Microsoft Surface Go has an Intel processor inside Pentium Gold 4415Y, this being delivered with 4 or 8 GB of RAM memory, 64 or 128 GB of storage space being also offered.

Microsoft Surface Go basically offers a dual-core processor from Intel, which offers acceptable performance, relatively decent autonomy for global users, but also works without a fan. Microsoft Surface Go offers up to 9 hours of autonomy thanks to the integrated battery, so very close to the iPad, but it is initially sold in Wi-Fi Only versions, without 4G support.

Microsoft Surface Go still has a very big advantage compared to iPad, more precisely it runs Windows 10 S Mode, but this S Mode can be disabled to use standard Windows 10. From this point of view, the Microsoft Surface Go is superior to the iPad tablets, and with a sale price of 400 dollars, only the terrible performances can make it undesirable in front of the Apple tablet.
