Google Chrome has implemented support for desktop notifications for some time, but Google has decided to offer users the possibility to receive notifications in Windows 10 directly in the integrated Notifications Center (Action Center). Until now, the desktop notifications sent by Google Chrome could not be reviewed somewhere in the browser, or Windows operating systems, but starting with this update, Windows 10 will display the notifications in its own Notifications Center.

Google Chrome had tested this functionality for several months before releasing it publicly for users running Windows 10, and unfortunately those with older versions cannot benefit from the functionality. Google Chrome will now also respect the settings that Windows 10 has for desktop notifications, so if you decided to block them for a temporary period of time, the browser will not override this setting.
