iOS 12 beta 11 is the version that brings this very useful function, and if in the past you had to press hard on the X of the grouped notifications to display the deletion option, now everything is done without 3D Touch. Starting with iOS 12 beta 11, it is only necessary to swipe from left to right to display the option to delete the entire group of notifications.

iOS 12 simplifies practically the entire system of interaction with groups of notifications, starting with beta version 11, even for old phones, which do not have 3D Touch available. Of course, the great useful function is the grouping of notifications, something that the Apple company avoided offering for several years, and in the end found a method to offer even without the exclusive 3D Touch.
iOS 12 could suggest, if I had to speculate, that the iPhone 9 could indeed come without 3D Touch, this change allowing users of the future phone to delete groups of notifications. Of course, this is just an extrapolation of this change, without any 100% real foundation, although the latest rumors say that this would be certain.
