iPhone XS recently went through a series of tests to check the new modem that promises to offer Internet browsing speeds of up to 1 Gbps, and Apple's promises do not disappoint, yet. The first tests carried out for the new iPhone XS modem confirm the fact that internet browsing speeds are double compared to those offered by the iPhone X last year, at least in the case of US operators.
iPhone XS 2 times faster than iPhone X in tests regarding the speed of internet browsing represents a major evolution for the Apple company, which has always been behind the competition from this point of view. Apple added 4×4 MIMO support for the iPhone XS series phones, which the iPhone X didn't really have, and now it seems that the phones are starting to reach a level very close to that of Android phones.

The iPhone XS comes with 4×4 MIMO, while the iPhone 8 and iPhone X series have 2×2 MIMO, just like the iPhone XR, so users of this year's more expensive models will enjoy a serious improvement to their browsing experience on the internet. Moreover, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max benefit from support for QAM and LAA technologies, along with other new radio technologies, all aiming to radically improve the Internet browsing experience.
The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are positioned very well in this test, but what we don't know at the moment is whether the model, or models, tested have a modem from Qualcomm or from Intel. There is a huge difference between the two types of modems, and the one from Intel will arrive in Romania, which is theoretically inferior in terms of technology to that of Qualcomm, so it remains to be seen what we will receive in Romania .
