Google Maps has today been announced by Id-entity si Yellow Pages today the launch of an amazing function on the Romanian market, something that of course has existed for some time abroad, but which finally arrives in our country. I'm talking about a system created by Google Maps to allow the visualization of images from inside various premises in Romania, but we're talking about images recorded at 360 degrees, so it will be possible to take tours of the locations directly from the Google platform.
Starting today, Google Maps has in Romania what the company calls Google 360 Inside View, it being thought to promote all kinds of locations in Romania, whether they are company headquarters, medical offices, restaurants, and more. Those from Id-entity say that 44% of Internet users use Google Maps to find out information about various types of businesses, and this new system helps them see what their locations look like inside.

Google Maps has so far created no less than 12.000 360-degree virtual tours, which are available through Google 360 Inside View, but here we are talking about a number that applies globally. In Romania, it is not yet known how many businesses have virtual tours of this kind available in Google Maps or Google Search, and the appearance of new ones depends mainly on the desire of businesses to become more visible on the Google platform.
"The success achieved on the other markets convinced us to offer this product in Romania as well. To date, we have made more than 12.300 virtual tours, and the evolution of the fields in which this technology is used has surprised us. In the field of real estate, it is the main tool that promotes residential and office spaces in a very attractive way. In Spain, one of the sectors in which we have consolidated is that of museums/exhibitions and historical and cultural edifices."
Google Maps, through this change implemented by Id-entity, also brings the Golden Pages back to the world's attention, a very well-known brand more than a decade ago, but which kind of went into the shadows as the Internet became more and more used in Romania.
