At the weekend I introduced you iPhone XS charging problem using the official cables and chargers of the Apple company, it being "localized" mainly for the new iPhone XS/Max, although users of other models also report it. Three days have passed since these problems began to be reported for the iPhone XS series, and I told you that I also experienced it, but the Apple company did not talk about it.
Apple tells customers asking for help that its engineers are aware of this iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max problem, and that they are actively investigating it, but they are not saying anything about it publicly. Everyone blames the problem on an existing bug in iOS 12, and not on the basis of a hardware problem of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, and this could be perfectly true, but those from Apple should provide information regarding she.
What Apple Says About iPhone XS Charging Problem
Apple hasn't responded publicly but I've received many screenshots from users that seem to indicate they're aware of the charge issue. pic.twitter.com/RiL6mv9J8s

iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, for those who have forgotten, refuse to charge if a cable is connected to them when the screens are off, whether that cable is original or from a third-party company. In some situations, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max phones refuse to start charging even though the screen is turned on by users, and in other situations it is impossible to turn it on by pressing the Power button, something that is absolutely not normal.
iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are treated by employees in Apple Stores as defective units if they have this problem, and are replaced on the spot for customers, but unfortunately this does not solve the problem. When the people from Apple could solve the situation, no one knows, but a lot of people are impatiently waiting for a solution for this situation, let's say, very strange, for a phone that costs no less than 1350 euros in Romania.
UPDATED: It seems that iOS 12.1 solves this problem, but considering that the update will be released only in a few weeks, it is very possible that iOS 12.0.1 will be released in the meantime to fix the bug for all users.
Today's iOS 12.1 beta includes a fix for the charging issue some people were experiencing with iPhone and iPad.
With it, no more delay or uncertainty about charging. You'll be back to just plugging it in and getting power.
(Pretty much what I said in my video yesterday.)
