The Apple car will be launched by the Americans, new information coming from the Cupertino partners confirming the plans to bring it to the market.

Apple car, that product as mythical as the television that never reached the market, would still be in the development process within the company from Cupertino. The information comes from the well-known Asian analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who states that the Americans want to launch a car sometime around 2023, or 2025, with an autonomous guidance system.

The Apple car would work on the basis of some proprietary chips of the Apple company, and this means that it would offer autonomous guidance of level 4, or even 5. Level 4 of autonomous guidance allows almost total control of the car through software, while level 5 would allow total control of the car through software, without the driver intervening.

Apple would use the Taiwanese from TSMC to produce at least some of the chips that will be used in the car that the company will launch, but this should not surprise anyone. The appearance of this rumor regarding the possible launch of an Apple car is very surprising, considering that Apple has focused more on autonomous guidance for cars, not on the cars themselves.

"We believe that Apple Car's Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) will support either Level 4 (high automation) or Level 5 (full automation). Only TSMC's 3/5 nm process can meet Level 4 and Level 5 chip requirements.”

Initially, the Apple company was rumored to launch its car for 2020 - 2021, but now it has reached 2025, and at this rate we can go until 2030. To be honest, I find it hard to believe that Apple will really launch an autonomous car in 2025, and then we can expect with more credibility only an autonomous guidance system for cars.
