WhatsApp has already implemented a new function called Silent Mode, the company owned by Facebook integrating this functionality without making any reference to it in any of the recently published change lists for the application. According to those who discovered and used the new function of WhatsApp, it allows users to stop displaying the number of unread notifications in the application badge for chats in which the display of notifications directly from the application has been stopped.
WhatsApp allows people to stop displaying notifications for certain conversations, or groups of conversations, in which a lot of messages are published, which are difficult or useless to follow. Although the display of notifications for these can be stopped, WhatsApp did not allow hiding in the application badges and the number of unread notifications for a conversation of this kind, and this problem is solved by the new Silent Mode, which was integrated into the application.

WhatsApp should have this new one Silent Mode visible in the application's settings menu, the option being activated automatically for everyone, so your only choice would be to disable it. This new option that WhatsApp offers comes in tandem with Vacation Mode, which completely hides archived chats, without redisplaying them in the conversation list when a new message is received, something that should normally work by itself.
WhatsApp solves two big complaints of its users with the integration Silent Mode and Vacation Mode, but for now only the first is actually available in the application, while the second functionality will be offered at a later date. WhatsApp is constantly developing new features for iPhone and Android users, and sometimes some of them are revealed before launch, while in other cases they remain secret until they are actually offered.
