iCloud does not work at the moment, multiple services offered by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), being dropped, those from Cupertino acknowledging the problem on their service page. You can see in the image below which services of the Apple company are not working correctly, or not at all at the moment, and if you need the system, you need to know what is happening.
iCloud has operational problems with the Find My iPhone, Documents in the Cloud systems, but also with the backup system, so you may not be able to save the data today. It is also possible to try to make a backup, the system seems to work, but in the end the data is not saved in the backups, so you have to be very careful what you do.
Apple does not mention when the iCloud services could return to normal operation, so we just have to see when the statuses for the services will be changed.
