Samsung is preparing the launch of its first gaming phone, as a competitor for the Huawei MATE 20X, and in order to be able to offer a suitable competitor, the Koreans are also preparing components to offer top performance. More precisely, Samsung intends to integrate its own video card in its new phone model, different from the Mali ones it uses in the current phone models it sells worldwide.
Samsung has been working on its own video card for phones for some time, and this new gaming phone would be the first to offer this technology, with Apple also working on something similar for several years. Those from Apple are seriously investing in the development of their own video card for mobile phones to integrate into the iPhone, but those from Samsung managed to get ahead of them, and have the component ready for use much faster than anyone imagines.

Samsung did not reveal much information about this new phone model, but most likely it will be a phone that has a last generation processor, and at least 8 GB of RAM memory. Together with a video card developed by Samsung especially for this phone, customers could have the best possible gaming experience, maybe even better than using Huawei phones.
"Samsung is working on a gaming phone. That's what we heard three months ago as well so not much has changed on this front. The interesting claim is that the possibility of the S-GPU being tested for this device has not been ruled out."
Samsung has always had phones that "suffered" when it comes to the performance offered by video cards, being always surpassed by iPhone phones, but here things could change to a very large extent. Bearing in mind that until now the people from Samsung have avoided selling smartphones that excel in gaming, it will be very interesting to see what they could offer with such a product.
