iPhone XR: Disassembly that Looks like an iPhone X

iPhone XR has been disassembled and experts say that it is a combination between iPhone 8 and iPhone X, with some "accents" of iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

iPhone XR was launched by the Apple company as a cheaper solution for those who do not have money to buy iPhone XS, but the first disassembly shows us that it is actually a combination between iPhone 8 and iPhone X. iPhone XR has a huge battery, after you can see, it can offer 11.16 Whr, compared to 12.08 Whr, as offered by the iPhone XS Max, but we are talking here about one with a rectangular shape, compared to the one in the new phones, which has the shape of the letter L.

The iPhone XR has the Lightning port positioned "incorrectly" in the case, but this is due to the fact that the LCD screen is thicker than the OLED one, and Apple had to give up the symmetry of the design. The iPhone XR still has a main camera identical to that of the iPhone XS, except for the second image sensor, which is missing, but even so, we are talking about hardware identical to that of the more expensive phone.

The iPhone XR also has a modular SIM drawer, a first for Apple phones, its integration reducing the duration and cost of repairs, if it breaks. Otherwise, the iPhone XR is a combination between the iPhone 8 and the iPhone X, the people from iFixIt saying that this is actually the iPhone 9 that Apple no longer released, but we all know that that model is "history" and we have to we get used to it.

"A peek under the hood revealed design hallmarks reminiscent of both the iPhone 8 (rectangular battery, single layer board) and X (square-ish logic board, Face ID), making this the spiritual "iPhone 9." But the XR isn't all throwback—it's got the latest silicon, and contains features entirely new to iPhones. We found Apple's first-ever modular SIM reader, possibly there to help with their newfangled multi-SIM plans."

The iPhone XR is promoted by the Apple company as being inferior to the iPhone XS, or even the iPhone X, considering the lower price, and what can be seen in the video clip above confirms this. Those from Apple used the main components from the iPhone 8 and iPhone X to create this cheap version of the iPhone XS, offering some of the novelties of the more expensive series.
