Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is in the process of developing a new Smart Battery Case for phones iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR, and below you can see it in a first image. We are talking about the well-known battery case that Apple sells, which provides information in iOS about the energy available to charge the phone, and has an ugly design.
The new version of the Smart Battery Case has the cutout for the camera positioned vertically, and seems to have a larger capacity battery that covers the bottom of the case, not just in the center. The change not only brings a greater capacity for the battery, but also makes the design more bearable, because the previous model seemed to be drawn by a monkey, not Jony Ive.
For now, it is not known what capacity the batteries in the new case will have, nor when they will be launched, but they are clearly made especially for the new phone models. In the same way, it is not known how much it will cost, but knowing how Apple works, it is expected that the prices will be higher than those for the current model.
