The institution claims that at the end of the first 6 months of 2018, there were 22.2 million active customers of mobile telephony services at Digi Mobil, Orange, Telekom, and Vodafone in Romania, 2% less than in the first 6 months of 2017.

In the first half of 2018, on average, a resident initiated voice calls totaling 4 hours and 51 minutes and sent 59 messages, monthly. The average duration of a call was 2 minutes and 45 seconds.
