Digi Mobile. Orange, Vodafone, Telekom, Veste GREAT for ROMANIS from the Government

Digi Mobile. Orange, Vodafone, Telekom will be part of a very big change made by the Government, for the Romanians, here is what is being prepared in 2019.

Digi Mobil lei

Digi Mobil. Orange, Vodafone, Telekom will experience a substantial change, at least for the last 3, because the Romanian Government wants to finally bring things back to normal for our country. Although you know that Digi Mobil expressed the prices in euros from the very beginning for customers in Romania, the rest telecom operators companies acted in the same way, preferring to take advantage of currency exchange fluctuations to extort money from customers in Romania.

Digi Mobil. Although in the case of the prices of the other RCS & RDS services, which are listed in LEI, the mobile operator, together with the rest, displays the prices in euros, but this will change in the future. The Minister of Finance, Eugen Teodorovici, announced that a change prepared by the Romanian Government is going to align the pricing policy of telecom operators, including that of Digi Mobil, so that everything is expressed in LEI, not euros.

Digi Mobil, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom could have prices expressed in LEI, not euros

Digi Mobil. The prices of services in Romania should be expressed in LEI, not euros, if Eugen Teodorovici's initiative is put into practice, so that Orange, Vodafone, Telekom should have fixed prices in LEI for services. At the moment, each of these operators calculates the invoices based on daily currency exchange fluctuations, which is not fair to Romanians, and the Government wants to force those from Digi Mobil, and the rest, to have prices only in LEI.

It is something that I raised in the discussion with Mr. Governor, because, from my point of view, this needs to be clarified very clearly: in Romania, prices are expressed in lei, possibly the equivalent can be put in euros, but not how it is , unfortunately, today, because such an approach leads, unfortunately, to the weakening of the lion, and this must be clarified. The prices in Romania are in lei and it can be mentioned, possibly, for those who wish, the equivalent in euros and nothing else.

Digi Mobil. This means that you know from the beginning of a contract, and until the end, how much you have to pay in LEI for that service, without your prices increasing every month, depending on the evolution of the euro. Considering that Digi Mobil, and the rest of the operators, offer services in Romania, not elsewhere where the euro currency exists, the prices should be expressed in LEI, fixed, without being influenced by the exchange rate, as if the minutes they would be bought by the kilogram, daily, depending on the exchange rate.

Digi Mobil. Those from RCS & RDS must be praised for the practice they have had so far for the rest of the services, not for the mobile ones, and I can only hope that the Romanian Government will impose this measure, and stop the dirty tactics of some companies, not only those in telecom.
