Samsung GALAXY S10. BAD NEWS for the Phone

Samsung GALAXY S10. A very bad news about phones came today, the Korean company not having such a great success with them.

Samsung GALAXY S10 pre-orders

Samsung GALAXY S10. Just one day after it was declared as the mobile phone with the best screen in history, today we are talking about a possible bad news regarding the new premium smartphone model. More precisely, although last week we were told that Samsung GALAXY S10 has high pre-orders in China, even double compared to the S9 series, but in South Korea, the home country of the Samsung company, things seem to be completely different, unfortunately.

Samsung GALAXY S10. It seems that the registrations for purchase on the first day of availability of the phone series totaled 140.000 units, compared to 180.000 units reserved for the Samsung GALAXY S9 series for the same first day. The difference is over 20% for the two phone models, but the Samsung GALAXY Note 9 registered 200.000 reserved units, so the Samsung GALAXY S10 did not even come close to that phone model, considered to be mainly for business people.

Samsung GALAXY S10 has lower reservations than expected, higher pre-orders?

Samsung GALAXY S10. Interestingly, Samsung presents the exact opposite situation, with 180.000 units pre-ordered through its partners, without saying how many units were reserved on the first day of availability. Last year, 180.000 units of the GALAXY S9 were pre-ordered, while the Samsung GALAXY S10 would register the same number of pre-orders, but much lower reservations for the day of launch, which is surprising.

The number of Samsung Electronics Co.'s Galaxy S10s that South Korean users have signed up for at local mobile carriers came to 140,000 units on the first day of registration. The number of Galaxy S10's first-day registration falls below that of the Galaxy S9's 180,000 units released in March 2018 and the Galaxy Note 9's 200,000 units launched in August.

Samsung GALAXY S10. We already know from last year that the S9 series had lower pre-orders than the S8 series, and to be completely honest, I expected the new phones to set new pre-order records, not a setback. The difference made between pre-orders and registrations for the day of release could generate a little confusion, but overall, it seems that the Samsung GALAXY S10 lags behind the series of phones released last year, which is not good for Samsung.

Samsung GALAXY S10. It can be pre-ordered from many countries, and the official launch will take place on Friday, March 8, so we have very little to wait for the phones.
