Google Chrome. The new function that will HELP you EXTREMELY A LOT

Google Chrome. A very important new feature has been announced for users around the world, and it will be very helpful for everyone.

Google Chrome login

Google Chrome. The most used browser for surfing the Internet is not even the best of all, the Google company being perfectly aware of this, so it is preparing a function that will be extremely useful to us. The new feature prepared for Google Chrome is related to the extensions that are used in the browser, some of them can cause excessive consumption of resources, while others can be used to hack people's computers.

Google Chrome. Google engineers have started testing a new function that will allow users to view a log of what browser extensions do when it is used. This log will display all the tasks undertaken by extensions for Google Chrome, and their analysis will help a user to discover if there is any extension that does something it should not do, and should be deleted immediately.

Google Chrome. Of course, some technical knowledge is also needed to be able to analyze this log and to see exactly what is happening, but at the moment there is absolutely nothing similar available. This means that now Google Chrome users have no way to see what affects their browser operation, or consumes a lot of resources, so we are talking about a very beneficial change, very helpful for a lot of people.

This CL adds an event listener for extension activities and Polymer components to display these activities in a list with new activities being added to the end. Users can start/stop and clear the stream using the start/stop button under the tabs. The current logic to fetch activities is to append new ones at the end of the list and notify Polymer to update the UI. All this logic is implemented inside the event listener. While performance can slow down when there are thousands of activities within the stream, the stream is still relatively performant for less than 1000 activities.

Google Chrome. At the moment, this new function is only tested by Google's engineers inside the company, not even being available in the Canary version for developers. In this idea, it is not very clear when Google Chrome will have the function available in a beta version at least, so we will have to wait some time to be able to clearly see what functionality it will offer when it is offered.
