Samsung GALAXY S10. AMAZING Speed Achieved on 5G

Samsung GALAXY S10. An amazing speed was reached in the first tests done on a 5G network, here is how high the download speed will be for phones.

Samsung GALAXY S10 5G speed

Samsung GALAXY S10. A 5G version of the new phone models was announced by the Samsung company, but of course only for certain countries, it being presented by the press, but without tests on this technology. Even if at the time of the official presentation of the Samsung GALAXY S10 no tests were done on any 5G network, today we see how efficient the new smartphone models will be in use on the future telephone networks.

Samsung GALAXY S10. The 5G version of the series was tested on the network of the mobile phone operator SK Telecom in South Korea, and there the speed of 2.65 Gbps was reached for downloading to phones. A 2GB movie can be downloaded to a Samsung GALAXY S10 in just 6 seconds using a 5G connection, according to the carrier, which is truly amazing, but of course that's only when the network is empty, not when there will be many users.

Samsung GALAXY S10. AMAZING Speed Achieved on 5G

Samsung GALAXY S10. In order to reach the speed of 2.65 Gbps, the 5G and 4G speeds were combined on the phone, i.e. 1.5 Gbps for 5G and 1.15 Gbps for 4G, but the operator intends to increase it to 2.7 Gbps in 2019. Not only the Samsung GALAXY S10 will reach these speeds in the operator's network, but also the other phone models that will be launched with support for it, but for now there is none that can be used in this country.

The upcoming Galaxy S10 5G smartphone will have data transfer speeds of up to 2.7Gbps in South Korea, SK Telecom said. The telco said it successfully tested the aggregation of its 5G and 4G LTE networks. It combined 5G's 1.5Gbps transfer speed and LTE's 1.15Gbps to achieve 2.65Gbps, but this will increase to 2.7Gbps within the first half of the year after Galaxy S10 5G is commercialized.

Samsung GALAXY S10. To be honest, the speed reached by the phones is amazing, given that we now have, on average, about 100 Mbps on 4G in Romania, "on the good days", so it would be an "unbelievable" increase for 5G. Of course, these speeds will only be enjoyed by those who will be among the first to use 5G networks, because as more phones start connecting to it, the average speed will be lower, whether it's the Samsung GALAXY S10, or other phones.

Samsung GALAXY S10. In Romania, it is not known if any 5G version of this series of phones will be launched, but on the other hand, it is not known if we will see any other 5G phone model launched in 2019.
