More precisely, RCS & RDS, the branch in Romania, announced that it bought from the AKTA | group DCS infrastructure components and a portfolio of subscribers that it had in Romania, various information about the transaction appearing in the Romanian press in the last few days.

Initially it was said that the entire AKTA group will be bought by those from Digi, but the reality is completely different, because a limited number of subscribers ended up in the portfolio of the large telecommunications group. Unfortunately, those from RCS & RDS do not mention which of the localities where AKTA had infrastructure have now moved into its portfolio, but subscribers should have already been informed of the change, according to the information published by the group.

In Romania, the telecom group owned by Digi has several million customers, and the acquisition of those parts of the AKTA infrastructure is most likely based on the desire to have infrastructure in areas where it does not exist, or to fully control those areas. According to an asset purchase agreement concluded between RCS & RDS SA, as buyer, and ATTP Telecommunications SRL, as seller, DIGI | RCS&RDS has acquired, in several localities in Romania, certain infrastructure components and a limited portfolio of subscribers. Subscribers have been notified of this transaction and are to be integrated into the portfolio of RCS & RDS SA The acquired assets were previously owned by the AKTA group | DCS.
RCS & RDS. Considering the level it has reached now, the company has slowed down its pace of acquisitions, but does not give up buying infrastructure where it believes it is necessary to have it.
