apple hbo showtime starz subscriptions

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), has revealed today the prices of the subscriptions it wants to sell for its new on-demand video streaming service, and the news is very interesting. More precisely, those from Apple offered as an example subscriptions for content from HBO, Starz, Showtime, which would cost $9.99, but it is not known if for each network, or a subscription combined with this cost.

Apple will launch the new video streaming service initially for Apple TV and its own products, but in the future the American company wants to bring this service to other TVs as well. Apple employees say that the new service is a "Netflix Killer", but the reality is that Apple does not have such big plans for now, especially since it has no content for it.

Apple will also launch a subscription for news through the Apple News application, and for this it intends to charge $9.99 per month from the moment of launch. Apple will include no less than 200 newspapers and magazines, plus new content from each of them, in a variety of categories, from politics to celebrity news.

Tim Cook was personally involved in this project to make sure that things go as they should, and Apple will have services that will bring them money for many years from now. We will find out more details during this evening's conference, which is scheduled to start at 19:00, in Romania, so I am waiting for you then to discuss all the news.
