Apple is preparing the launch of new iPhone models that will have larger screens than those used in the current models on global markets.

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is preparing the launch of new iPhone models that have larger screens than those used in iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max at the moment, the differences will be noticeable for the customers who will buy them. More precisely, the iPhone 12 phone series will be the one that will contain these new screens, those from Apple wanting to bring their products to the same level as those offered by competing manufacturers for their customers.

The iPhone 12 would have a screen with a diagonal of 6.1 inches, the iPhone 12 Max/Plus would have a screen with a diagonal of 6.7 inches, while the iPhone XR 2020 would have a screen with a diagonal of 5.42 inches. The iPhone 12 should come with a screen that has a diagonal 0.3 inches larger than the iPhone XS, while in the case of the iPhone 12 Max/Plus the diagonal would increase by 0.2 inches, Apple also taking something from the phones in the series Samsung GALAXY S10 with these changes.

iPhone. Apple LAUNCHES Phones with BIGGER Screens

At the moment, the iPhone XR is the only one with a screen that has one of the three diagonals announced for next year, but Apple wants to completely switch to OLED screens for the 2020 series. I find it hard to believe that the phone that will be called the iPhone 11, and it will have a 5.8-inch screen in 2019, it will not have a successor in 2020, or it will have the screen reduced to 5.42 inches, and the iPhone XR will have a successor in 2020, but with an OLED screen.

Apple reportedly plans to launch three OLED-based new iPhone devices in 2020 available in 5.42-, 6.06- and 6.67-inch sizes, respectively. But for 2019, Apple will continue to roll out three models following the screen technologies and sizes of the three phones launched in 2018: two OLED models available in 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch screens, and a 6.1-inch LCD model.

For the iPhone 12 Plus/Max, the diagonal increase in the screen is normal, because Apple will most likely try to use a new type of component to offer even more space to view information. The dimensions of future iPhone models should be very close to the current ones, but it depends on how the American company will think about the series it will launch, and which model will have that smaller screen, with a diagonal of 5.42 inches.

For now, all these are rumors, and we still have more than 1 year until the phones will be launched, but it is very clear that Apple is starting to test screens for them.
