WhatsApp. Just a few weeks after revealing a very important new function for the dedicated iPhone and Android application, today it has been officially confirmed for worldwide release. We told you a few weeks ago that WhatsApp is going to implement a new function for iPhone and Android that will allow you to select people who can add to our conversation groups, which is not really possible now.

For many, these group chats mean a lot of unwanted notifications from conversations they don't want to hear about, and WhatsApp has realized that a change is needed, so they've announced that they're finally offering it publicly for all users of the platform.
WhatsApp. Unlike the previous versions of the applications, now all users will have the opportunity to choose which of the contacts in the address book they can add to the conversation groups without the need for prior agreement. WhatsApp will allow people to choose to be introduced into conversation groups by any people, even if they have them in their contacts, or not, only by contacts, or by no one, which is more logical.

Those targeted will then receive the notification, and will have the option to refuse to be added to that WhatsApp group, or to accept, so there is now more control for regular users, who can stay away from groups they don't want to be part of.

WhatsApp. The invitations to enter certain conversation groups have a validity period of only 72 hours, so if you do not necessarily want to give an answer, you can choose to ignore the alerts. These new functions are implemented by the WhatsApp company in the latest versions of the applications for iPhone or Android, so you will only benefit from them if you update for the latest applications.
