LG plans to launch a new phone model like we have never seen before from any smartphone manufacturer, the Koreans wanting to stand out with something new in an over-saturated and cloned market. More specifically, a new patent registered by LG shows us a new smartphone model that has a triple front camera, something we have not seen from any smartphone manufacturer until now.
LG included in his patent a smartphone that resembles the LG V50 ThinQ, but which has a triple selfie camera, a cutout having integrated this complex camera thought by the manufacturer for the phone. It is possible that LG wants to offer an advanced facial recognition system for the future smartphone model, but also new functions to record selfies with a depth effect, something that more and more customers are looking for in phones.

LG is known for the fact that it innovates in the field of photography, but what it proposes now for mobile phones is completely different from what we have seen from other Asian manufacturers, which is a very good change. LG launched the LG V50 ThinQ with a dual front camera, so a phone with a triple selfie camera would represent the most natural evolution for smartphones, and recording photos with the best possible quality.
LG currently has quite big problems with the division that develops smartphones, and this is because in Q4 2018 it recorded losses of 73 million dollars, and it is not the first quarter in which things went in this direction. Because the smartphone market is so saturated, those from LG are trying to come up with something new to attract customers, and a phone like this could be the ideal solution to increase sales.
LG for now it has only registered a patent for this phone, so it remains to be seen what will happen with their idea in 2019, or maybe 2020.
