Windows 10. WHY are users still SCARED

Windows 10. Users are still scared of the new version of Microsoft's operating system, here's what's happening all over the world right now.

Windows 10 scares

Windows 10. Despite the fact that Microsoft is struggling to win the trust of users of the operating system, many of them are still afraid of what they will receive in their computers when they install the updates offered. The updates with many problems that the company Microsoft offers for users of the Windows 10 operating system still keep away many of the Windows 7 users, who prefer to stay with the old versions of the operating system.

Windows 10. Microsoft has announced since last year that at the beginning of next year it will stop offering updates for Windows 7, but this has not changed the plans of those who still have the old version of the operating system. People prefer to stay with what they have, and they know it works, instead of installing Windows 10, and having huge headaches with data loss, and other similar things.

Windows 10. WHY are users still SCARED

Windows 10. The adoption rate of the operating system increased from 43.62% to 44.1% in April, an extremely small change, and this is mainly thanks to some users coming from Apple's Macs, not from anywhere else. In the case of Windows 7, the change in the number of users is only 0.09%, that is insignificant in the context of the total number of people using the operating system, the percentage reaching 36.43% at the moment globally, very close to that of Windows 10.

NetMarketShare's statistics for the desktop OS market in April showed that Windows 10 gained a little ground, moving up from 43.62% to 44.1%, essentially an uptick of half a percentage point, a solid enough increase, if a little modest. Indeed, Windows 7 barely dropped at all, moving from 36.52% in March to 36.43% for April; a shift of just 0.09% (not far from the margins of statistical error, we'd assume).

Windows 10. Although the number of people using Windows 7 started to decrease since last year, things are a bit stagnant at the moment, with no real chances to change as Microsoft wants for the future. Windows 10 does not have enough important news to convince users of old versions of the operating system, and the constant problems with updates certainly do not help in the process of convincing them to make updates.

Windows 10. It will be interesting to see how things will evolve in the future, but at the moment it seems quite clear that Microsoft is a bit overwhelmed by the situation, without any solution to bring things back to normal.
