iOS 13. TWO New SPECIAL Functions on iPhone, iPad

iOS 13. Two new special functions for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch were revealed before the official presentation of the operating system, here is what Apple wants to offer.

iOS 13 special features

iOS 13. Yesterday, the new version of Apple's operating system announced a series of very important changes prepared by the Americans, and today we learn the continuation of the news that we will receive. The first very important change we are talking about is a function called "Sleep Mode", this being "linked" to a new section of the Clock application for iOS 13, it having the name "Bedtime", it being of course created for monitoring the sleep of iPhone users, iPad.

iOS 13. This function would first allow users to monitor the moments when they fall asleep and when they wake up, making statistics with sleep periods, so that people know how to improve their daily sleep. Apple has already implemented something similar in iOS 12, but for iOS 13 the functionality is extended, being able to offer compatibility with monitoring through the Apple Watch, or through other accessories connected to iDevices.

A new system-wide Sleep Mode that will tie into an upgraded version of the Bedtime tab in Apple's Clock app. The Bedtime feature lets users input the time they fall asleep and when they want to wake up. The software currently tracks some sleep patterns, but the new version will be more extensive and could integrate with future Apple sleep-tracking devices, like a new Apple Watch. The Sleep Mode, when enabled in Control Center, turns on Do Not Disturb, darkens the Lock Screen, and mutes all notifications.

iOS 13. TWO New SPECIAL Functions on iPhone, iPad

iOS 13. The second special function is implemented for the Safari browser which is available for iPhone and iPad, the Apple company bringing a function requested for many years by users from all over the world. Safari is going to implement a download manager through which users with iOS 13 installed can see the files they download from the Internet in their own devices, which is currently impossible on Apple's terminals.

The company is testing a downloads manager for its Safari web browser so users can access downloads in a single place like they can on a computer. An updated Files app will work better with third-party software.

iOS 13. Some third-party browsers from the AppStore also have integrated download managers, but we can't download more than pictures, videos and documents to iDevices anyway, so the usefulness of this download manager is questionable for now. Apple also wants to improve the Files application to be better compatible with other third-party applications in iOS 13, but it's hard to say at this moment how everything should work in the end.

iOS 13. The official presentation of the operating system will take place at the beginning of June, during WWDC 2019, less than a month away from the moment when Apple will reveal all the important news.
